Finalizing the Official Vote Tally

Counting votes does not end on Election Night. After Election Night, there are thousands of ballots that need to be counted, including Vote-by-Mail ballots, provisional ballots, write-in ballots, and damaged ballots. California Elections Code requires that the results be certified within 30 days from Election Day. The City of Norco realizes it is difficult for residents, candidates and or campaigns involved to wait for results of the Election. The legally mandated process of certifying the Election is necessary to ensure all ballots are included in the official final Election returns. The Riverside County Registrar of Voters Office updates results regularly, which can be viewed at www.voteinfo.net
