Fire Station No. 21 (Corydon Avenue Fire Station), located at 3367 Corydon Avenue, was first occupied in 1978 and closed between December 1982 and March 1990, houses one 1,500 g.p.m. first-line pumper and one reserve engine. Station No. 21 staff consists of three shifts. Shift includes one Fire Captain, one Fire Engineer and two Firefighter/Paramedics. Construction on the re-model at Station No. 21 is finished and the station is again open.

Fire Station No. 22 (Sixth Street Fire Station), located at 3902 Hillside Avenue, was officially occupied on September 11th 2004, houses one 1,500 g.p.m. first-line pumper, one reserve engine, one Medium Rescue unit with a Large Animal Rescue trailer and a utility vehicle. The animal rescue trailer also contains two ATVs and a Gator with off-road capabilities. Station 22 staff consists of three shifts. Shift includes one Fire Captain, one Fire Engineer and two Firefighter/Paramedics and one Battalion Chief.

Fire Station No. 22 also houses Norco Fire Department's administration located on the east end of building. Norco Fire administration includes the Fire Chief Dave Carlson, two part-time Clerk Typists and a Fire Prevention Officer/Code Enforcement Officer.

Basic Life Support (EMT-1 level) and Advanced Life Support (EMT paramedic level) emergency medical services are provided by the Norco Fire Department. Emergency Transportation Service is provided by AMR Ambulance Service.

The Norco Fire Department does have mutual aid responses from Corona City Fire Department and Cal Fire for large vegitation or structure fires.

The Norco Fire Department is continuing to evaluate the Paramedic Program, response times and districts to ensure the highest level of service. This is also including the development of Norco Fire Station No. 23 slotted for the near future to cover the Norco Hills area of the South-East portion of the city. The Department is also developing data to implement a Fire Officer Certification and Fire Engineer Certification Programs and a Firefighter Training Program. The Department is continuing to improve the Fire Inspection and Tumbleweed and Weed abatment Programs.
