Memorial Day

On Memorial Day, we honor those who have come before us, who have fought on behalf of us, and who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. This Memorial Day will be different without an emotional ceremony at the beautiful George A. Ingalls Veterans Memorial Plaza, surrounded by patriotism, followed by our traditional Memorial Day activities. While we are not able to be together for a ceremony with pageantry, prayers and military music, this will not stop Norco from commemorating Memorial Day with any less patriotism, pride or appreciation.

The City of Norco invites you to commemorate Memorial Day by tuning in to a heartfelt ceremony hosted by your City Council Members and a few local veterans who are going to make this Memorial Day as special as possible, even from afar. Visit on Memorial Day to tune in to the ceremony.

Additionally, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Memorial Day, the community may honor our nation’s flag, pay tribute to our fallen heroes, and reflect on the meaning of Memorial Day at the moving George A. Ingalls Veterans Memorial Plaza. Vehicles may enter through Gate 5 of the Ingalls Event Center from Crestview Drive.

Just because we’re apart in our homes does not mean we’re alone. The brave men and women who paid the ultimate price and devoted years of their lives for our liberty guaranteed that we as Americans would never be alone and would never lose our freedom.
