The City of Norco is accepting applications to serve on the City's various Commissions and Committees. The deadline to submit applications is 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2019. The Norco City Council will consider and make appointments at the City Council Meeting on June 19, 2019. Applications will be accepted to fill vacancies as follows:

Any resident of the City of Norco may serve on a City Commission. No member is selected on the basis of representing a specific business, district, organization, or cause. Service on City Commissions is a 4-year term. Requirements to serve on a Commission are as follows:
- Must be a permanent resident of Norco
- Be a citizen of the United States
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Never have been convicted of a felony
- Must take the Oath of Office
An appointment to a Commission is an honor and a responsibility. The City Council has confidence in the judgment and integrity of its appointees and relies on them for information and recommendations on specific matters. As advisers to the Council, Commission Members are expected to regularly attend meetings, understand their duties and roles, and work to contribute to the betterment of the community.
The City of Norco is accepting applications to serve on the Norco Youth Advisory Council (NYAC). Nine positions will be filled to serve a one-year term (October - May) that coincides with the school year. The deadline to submit applications is 6:00 p.m. on Monday, September 9, 2019. The Norco City Council will consider and make appointments at its meeting on Wednesday, September 18, 2019.
Norco Youth Advisory Council shall be empowered to promote community involvement with, for, and by youth, review proposals for programs, projects, and facilities as they pertain to youth; assist in the evaluation and planning of programs and services with an emphasis on youth; review and make recommendations on matters pertaining to youth programming and services to the various City Commissions and the City Council; promote youth involvement in community events, programs, and volunteer projects through public education, schools, and community organizations, and act in an advisory capacity to the City Council in all other policy matters pertaining to youth. Requirements to serve on the Norco Youth Advisory Council are as follows:
- Current registered student, grades 9-12, at Norco High School or John F. Kennedy Middle College High School; or
- Current registered student, grades 9-12, resident of Norco, who is home schooled, attends private school, or attends school outside of the Corona-Norco Unified School District
