New Reservoirs Coming Online

The City of Norco is in the process of constructing two new reservoirs on Bluff Street, just north of the River Road Bridge, a project representative of an ambitious public works capital improvement program. The bolted-steel storage tanks will each have a 1,000,000-gallon capacity, significantly increasing the City’s overall storage of potable water and ability to meet fire flow demands. The twin tanks’ steel construction provides greater durability and safety than concrete reservoirs, and are less costly to maintain. These new tanks, which are expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2021, will ensure ample supply even as demand increases. A reliable source of high-quality water is literally the lifeline for the City of Norco, and improvements like these new facilities will preserve the City’s lifestyle while making Norco competitive for business expansion.
