MAYOR NEWTON TO PRESENT THE 2017 STATE OF THE CITY ADDRESS
The City of Norco Will Partner With Local Organizations to Host the Annual Event
NORCO, CA: The City of Norco will host its 2017 State of the City Address on March 30, 2017. Mayor Greg Newton will present this year’s address, titled “Celebrating Norco: Overcoming Challenges and Discovering Opportunities.” Mayor Newton’s address will focus on a sense of community and collaboration, highlighting the benefits of living in Horsetown USA. The Mayor will articulate the challenges and opportunities lying ahead for the City of Norco, many of which affect all communities in Riverside County, the State of California and throughout America.
The City of Norco will host the event in partnership with local community organizations. Prior to the Mayor’s address, attendees are invited to enjoy a selection of light refreshments while meeting with Norco’s variety of community organizations and exploring the diverse programs available in Horsetown USA. A variety of organizations will have exhibit tables at which to tell their story, share information on their various programs, and showcase their dedication to improving the quality of life in Norco.
The 2017 State of the City Address will be held at Nellie Weaver Hall, 3737 Crestview Drive in Norco. The doors will open at 6 p.m. and the ceremony will begin at 7 p.m., allotting approximately one hour to interact with the diverse nonprofit organizations who call Horsetown USA home.
