Corydon Staging Area Closed for Santa Ana River Mainstem Restoration Planting Event
The Corydon Staging Area will be closed to equestrian staging from 7 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, during the Santa Ana River Mainstem Restoration Planting Event. The goal of this ongoing project, which is supported by the US Army Corps of Engineers and UltraSystems, is to reestablish the native habitat in the Santa Ana River by removing invasive, non-native bamboo-like plants, also known as Arundo. For more information about the Santa Ana River Mainstem Habitat Restoration Project or volunteering for the Community Restoration Planting Day, view the flyer below or contact the City of Norco Parks and Recreation Department at (951) 270-5632 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
