Fourth of July Trail Ride & Picnic in the Park

The City of Norco invites you to celebrate the Fourth of July the Horsetown USA way with a patriotic day of family fun!

The day starts with a Patriotic Scenic Trail Ride at 9:30 a.m., which will be staged out of Parking Lot 2 at the George Ingalls Equestrian Event Center, located at the corner of Crestview Drive and Sixth Street. Dress in red, white and blue as prizes will be awarded for the most patriotic horse and rider! Helmets are required for riders under the age of 18, and there may be a shallow river crossing.

After the trail ride, relax at a family picnic at Pikes Peak Park, located directly across from the George Ingalls Equestrian Event Center, from 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. The picnic will feature live music from Sterling Sylver, crafts for kids, old-fashioned picnic games, cake walks, horseshoe tournaments, and more! Prizes will be awarded! The Norco Lions Club will have BBQ and cold refreshments available for purchase, or you may bring your own picnic favorites. Don’t forget your chairs and blankets! Please note that no alcohol is allowed and ice chests are subject to search.
