76 Gas Station Coming Soon to Hamner Avenue

You may have noticed a sign at the southwest corner of Town & Country Drive and Hamner Avenue, indicating the future construction of a 76 gas station, automated carwash and convenience store. This vacant site was previously used as a parking lot for the Riverside County offices that were located in a building to the south of the proposed station. Because of the site’s high visibility, staff worked very closely with the applicant to ensure that the development’s architecture is well-suited to the Western theme of Horsetown USA. The Planning Commission’s Architectural Review Subcommittee provided input prior to approval of a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) last June. The development will put to use a long-vacated site and generate sales tax revenue for the City of Norco.
