A Step Ahead: Empowering Our Youth | Parent & Student Town Hall
Join United Norconians for Life Over Alcohol and Drugs (UNLOAD) on Thursday, March 14, at its Town Hall Meeting entitled “A Step Ahead: Empowering Our Youth”! Both parents and students are encouraged to attend this family-oriented educational event, which will be held from 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Nellie Weaver Hall (3737 Crestview Drive in Norco).
UNLOAD is a committee of students, law enforcement personnel, Corona Norco Unified School District officials and City of Norco officials tasked with curbing drug and alcohol use in the community. The Town Hall presenters will identify signs of alcohol and substance abuse, detail resources and prevention programs, and discuss tactics to keep children and teenagers safe from predators, specifically in the digital environments of social media, chat rooms and online gaming.
Share this event with any parents and/or students in the community, including those who attend Norco High, John F. Kennedy Middle College High School and Norco Intermediate School!
