Celebrate Norco's Heritage During the Norco Fair
Our community has an incredibly rich history, and during the weekend of the Norco Fair, the Historic Preservation Commission is offering an opportunity to learn more. On two days during the Norco Fair—Friday, August 30, and Saturday, August 31—the Heritage Room at the Community Center (3900 Acacia Avenue) will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Commissioners and archivists will be on hand to guide visitors through exhibits that reveal the extraordinary history of Norco, from the arrival of Rex Clark to the incorporation of the City to current day efforts to commemorate and preserve our landmarks.
This particular weekend, the Commissioners are presenting a historical overview of the Norco Fair, dating back to 1947. The exhibit is free of charge, so be sure to discover the Norco of yesterday and how it shapes our community today!
