Norco Sheriff's Station Makes Possession of Stolen Vehicle/Wanted Person Arrest
On November 20, 2019, at 5:06 a.m, deputies from the Norco Sheriff’s Station conducted a vehicle check of an awkwardly parked vehicle in the driveway entrance to a business. A records check of the license plate revealed the vehicle was reported stolen out of the City of Lake Elsinore the day prior. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was slumpt over the wheel and asleep. He was identified as 31-year-old, Javier Eduardo Romero, a resident of the City of Elsinore. A records check of Romero revealed he was a wanted person for violating the conditions of his Post Release Community Supervision. He was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and the Post Release Community Supervision violation. He was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for the listed charges and is being held on a NO-Bail Warrant out of Riverside County.
