New Hours to Explore Norco’s Heritage
Our community has an incredible story to tell, and the City’s Historic Preservation Commission is offering an opportunity to hear it. At is January 2020 meeting, the Commission voted to establish regular public hours for the Heritage Room at the Community Center (3900 Acacia Avenue). Every Friday, the room—it is part museum, part research facility—will be open between the hours of 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Commissioners and archivists will be on hand to guide visitors through exhibits that reveal the extraordinary history of Norco, from the arrival of Rex Clark to the incorporation of the City to current day efforts to commemorate and preserve our landmarks.
Admission is free of charge, so be sure to discover the Norco of yesterday and how it shapes our community today! And if you’re a history buff interested in volunteering, be sure to introduce yourself at the Heritage Room!
