Patriotic Picnic in the Park

Bring your chairs and blankets, and enjoy live music, crafts and contests for the whole family, including a horseshoe tournament, picnic games and the annual bike/trike parade and decorating contest! Prizes will be awarded to the most patriotic participants.

• Time: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
• Location: Pikes Peak Park (97 Sixth Street)
• Refreshments: While attendees may bring their own picnic snacks, food and drinks will be available for purchase.
• Event Protocol: No alcohol or BBQs are allowed. Ice chests are subject to search. Pets must be on a leash.

Event Schedule

• Dessert Dance: 10 a.m.
• Bike/Trike Decorating Contest: 11:30 a.m.
• Dessert Dance: 12 p.m.
• Family Scavenger Hunt: 12:30 p.m.
• Family Costume Contest: 1 p.m.
• Dessert Dance: 1:15 p.m.
• Water Balloon Toss: 1:30 p.m.

Cost

• Parking and admission are free. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
